    Skater Chick Chic!
(Part 6/6)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Skater girl, Pentecostal girl, and stylish girl all mixed into one outfit. This is my everyday style; fit for occasions like going to the mall, going to a picnic, or even just hangin' out with your pals. The gray cropped cardigan with slightly bunched sleeves, gives a cute frilly look. It was a must-have from Goodwill that only cost $4. The gray and white striped shirt contains a yellow, stretchy band wrapped around, and a flared out bottom. It also has a zipper down the front (giving a unique appearance) with yellow stitching behind it. It adds an interesting style to the look. It cost $4. The skirt was from Cato Fashions and was on clearance for I believe $10. It is sometimes so difficult to find a knee-length white pencil skirt, yet Cato made it easy for me. They seem to always have a pretty good selection of skirts and when they do have skirts, they usually are always on a clearance rack! So it's definitely a good place to check out sometime! The gray Dexter's (what I call "sailor's shoes") were from Payless. They are super cute and so "in" these days. They are great for most outfits! I even pair them with some of my more fancy ensembles! They cost nearly $20 ( I treated myself after all this "cheap" shopping... hehe) The grand total of the outfit was about $34. Not "AS" cheap as the others, but still awesome compared to some of the prices these days. For any more tips or questions, feel free to let me know what you are interested in finding out, and I will do my best to help you find an answer. "Modesty On Budget" does not have to be a boring and un-finished look! It is possible to find wonderful pieces to compliment your look, for a good price! God Bless You All and have fun discovering your "beautifully modest" style. :)
A Spy With   Elegance!
(Part 5/6)

DAH DAH DAAAAAAAAH! Watch out for the girl in the super cool, purple, hipster sunglasses. She's on the loose, with a stylish look, containing a black vest, a purple half-length sleeve purple shirt, a black pencil skirt, and a some super cute moccasin heels. She is now wanted by: The Pentecostal Ladies Association, also known as "The P.L.A". The vest is a black, pin-stripe design featuring a feather accented jeweled pin. This was found at Goodwill for the price of $4. The purple, half-length sleeved shirt is a comfortable fit; stretchy, and useful. We found it at Target for approximately $9. The black skirt is a simple cotton pencil skirt with a zipper in the back, found at Walmart last year in many color selections for $5. It is a wonderful length, so it is sure to keep you under "disguise". The moccasin heels are the same ones featured in the last outfit post. They were from a friend, still in wonderful condition. And like I said before, you can't get any "cheaper" than that! The outfit sums up to a "steal deal" of about $10-12! Please let us know if you know any information about this stylish young woman ASAP! ;)

  Cheetah Gone Loose!
(Part 4/6)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       So to start off this "cheetalicious" look, I bought the dress at Walmart for $5. It was a design that stuck out to me because every girl needs at least one thing "cheetah" in their closet. It's also just a fun design to have and match different colors with. My favorite combo is cheetah print and spicing it up with a hint of red. The skirt was also from Walmart and I purchased it for $5. Just a tip to throw out there to my ladies: NEVER, EVER, EVER, GO WITHOUT AT LEAST ONE BLACK PENCIL SKIRT IN YOUR CLOSET! You will always need one! I stay on the safe side and hold at least 2 in my wardrobe at all times! Its like not having a life jacket while swimming in the ocean. Stay safe! The belt was from Goodwill for $2 and can be used for almost anything because of its "universal" color. The shoes were from a friend so you can't get much cheaper than that! They were still in good condition, taken that she rarely wore them. They are black heel moccasins; super cute for a rustic-chic look. There is a frill lining the top of the shoe giving it a true Indian feel and a tassel hanging from the front. They are able to be "dressed-up" and "dressed down" easily. The outfit totals around $ 14! WOOHOO!

Bright Design, And You Will Shine!   (Part 3/6)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  This is a good idea for a night service at church. You can buy a brightly designed dress, even if it has no sleeves, put a cropped cardigan over it, add a pencil skirt under it, then you are all set! The zig-zag designed dress has "sleeves" that are thicker than spaghetti straps, but not exactly full sleeves. It is pretty close to knee length but definitely not over the knee. It almost feels like silk in a way but its more of a thin material. I purchased it at Walmart for $5 and there were many other designs that i decided not to buy. The black cotton pencil skirt was also from Walmart (about 2 years ago) when they had a large selection of them in different colors such as blue, maroon, red, black, and gray. It is great for casual, fancy, and comfy outfits any day, and cost $5 as well! The black heels are the same ones that I used in a previous outfit. They were from Payless and they cost around $15. In all honesty, I do not recall where I purchased the black cropped cardigan, but I have found some at Walmart and Target recently. I am also not positive as to what the cost of it was. So, with that being said, without the cardigan, this outfit came to an approximate total of $25.

Nature's Colors At
It's Best (Part 2/6)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                You can't get closer to the colors of nature than with your earth tone browns and your forest greens; it's so calming and comfortable. The shirt in this outfit is a long sleeve shirt that is able to be rolled up to the elbows, then buttoned to stay in place. Its a v-neck with a bit of a high-low effect on the bottom hem. It was on clearance for $7 at Target. The brown skirt is super comfy and easy to move around in. Who doesn't need a good brown skirt to match with so many of the pieces in their wardrobe. This skirt was $4 at Goodwill. The calf-length, "cowgirl" boots were a nice touch to the outfit; giving a flare of western without becoming a hillbilly. Hehe :) You can find a thick brown belt almost anywhere but this one I also found at Goodwill for $2. I'm usually lucky enough to find things I am looking for that are still in good shape. The grand total of this outfit was about $15! That's truly awesome!
 (Part 1/6) Pretty In Pink!

The blessings of being able to use your own sister as a model is so much fun! Just had to say that first of all! So thank you for being such a trooper and stickin' through the photo session with me sista'! What's even better, is the fact that the outfits featured are all from our common everyday stores. Anything from Walmart, to Goodwill, to Target, to Salvation Army! A girl can still be stylish and look "expensive" without having to wear makeup, jewelry, etc. Pentecostal women can actually find some decent clothing without having to fret. So when in need of help, I will let y'all know when there is a discount, sale, or anything of that matter at a store that is cheap, yet beneficial to your closet. I live in New York, so its much more difficult to find nice and modest clothing for cheap. Dainty Jewell's has asked for me to submit a post that has to do with a specific caetgory: Modesty On Budget. This first outfit above has pieces that I bought from a number of different stores. The pink blazer, from JCPenny's, was about $15 dollars. I bought it a little over a year ago. The skirt was on clearance at Target for $11! What a steal! There were even some shorter skirts that were on clearance for $7. I bought the skirt about two weeks ago so there may still be some left. The black heels were from Payless, and when I used a coupon they sent me in the mail for signing up to be a member, I got 20% of, coming to a grand total of about $15. The outfit all together came to be $41-$42! Can't get too much better than that!
